When do you call BS?

An out of state guy rolls in today at RMR on a stock ZX-14, -1+46, air shifter, 4 into one exhaust. Extended swing arm Shinko Super soft, runs a 9.60 @ 143 mph. He weighs at least 240 lbs. Can this be a pure stock motor like he claims?

First time out on a lowered bike I only got one good pass and I went 9.89. That's on a stock wheelbase bike too! That can easily be done.

I don't mean this to be hard but your numbers do suck .. I rode Jesses turbo bike one time and ran 8.80s on 7 pounds of boost and that sucked because i run 8.80s on my zx14 with no turbo .. I'm going to cut you some slack because turbo bikes are very hard to ride fast in the 1/4 mile ..I have seen a guy with a 500 HP Busa run 10s and he has been trying for over a year to go faster .. You can have all the HP you want , using it to its fullest is a hole different story ..Keep working at it , in time you will go faster than 9.40s ..

150 mph you should be going 9.00's all day long. I just rode and 06' on Friday and went 9.02 at 150 mph. 1.41 60ft.

What 60 foots is your bike turning, Dave? I bet there is a story in that...

To echo what others have said, I went 9.32 on my bike at 63" wheelbase, full street trim. I was about 235 suited at the time.

The track and turbo are a hard combo. Turbo makes full hp then the tire hooks and wheelie time. On the drag nights when the track is prepped is the best time for changes. On street bike nights with loads of road rubber nothing works.

Certainly possible - dead stock motor with vitually identical setup as noted. I'm 235 when I wake up (never weighed myself with gear) I consistantly run 9.35 - 9.40 with a best of 9.33 at 147.

Muzzy folks say race only, can't do that, busted 25k miles on stage 1 @ 250 hp 7# boost. It's a daily rider and love every second of riding. 99% road, and total reliable.
