Bottoming out on front fender.

Hi , on my 07 I have a stock front end and not slid up the tubes. Only strapped.
About 5 times now I've come down hard enough to mark the front fender.
Anyone else doing this?
I strap it as tight as I can , leaving roughly a 4 / 5 CM gap and weigh 110KG naked .
Thanks for any thoughts.

Try and come down easier from the wheelie. My forks are lowered ab 3/4". And strapped it dosent leave a mark. All my settings on the forks are stock. I believe shane had a write up an the fork adj in his thread.

I'm stock WB and 16/41.
It happens when it comes up too quick and high for my skill level right on the start line , I'll admit that when this happens I drop the throttle back too much!

put a 60 series tire on, get a catalyst low profile front fender, make a lowering bracket, and lower the bike even more! lol

with my brackets and zx10 fender, you gain at least a 1/2" to the fairing.

+1 the brackets are perfect, everything lined up with no problems.

And it cools down MUCH faster and runs 1 bar cooler :-) Texas Summers
