I wired the tether last night. Not sure how most of you did it but I took the kill switch/starter apart and wired it internally for a nice clean look. I am doing the oil change tonight and plan on getting in some practice after that.

10.60ish @ around 138mph.

11.30.......... over 200 pounds, stock wheel base, not lowered. You are not a experienced ZX-14 Drag racer and will get better with more seat time. Not being mean just figured
stock gearing and not use to launching a ZX-14, low 11's to High 10's will be your best.
I hope I do not win but if I amthe winner, could you send a Bikeland hat not a Brockland bucket :-) Good Luck, have Fun and be safe.

No problem LAB3! If you win, I will put my flies back in and put on a TRE as well
Not trying to be cocky but if I can't run in the 10's I WILL sell the 14 and buy a Vespa.

Be careful with what you wish Rich......LOL! Good thing that you have 10 passes to improve and get to my re.guessed 10.44 or even better to my initial 9.86......other numbers are not acceptable!!!!
Good luck Bud and take it easy on the bike.

Funny...whats a TRE? I really hope you do Great. But I do not know you
so I have no Idea how good you are launching a Big high HP bike. If you have
done this a lot 10's no problem, But if you have never raced a ZX-14 before it's
harder than it looks. You can lose a second or 2 in the first 60 feet real Easy.
Post ALL your ET slips so we can see how you progress. I hope you hit a high 9.
Vespa...........No......Cushman Eagle now there is a Real scooter.... :-)

Will do. If it were not for this site I would say your guess would probably be right on but with all the info I have absorbed here I think I can do better. I have spent hours upon hours watching launch videos of Smokin, Shane and others from this site. I am blessed with many country roads within miles of my house to practice on.
All talk right now but my official guess right now is 10.42 for my best run. I will post all my slips on Saturday morning along with a video. Best part is there is another test and tune the following Friday so I am counting on you guys for suggestions.

10.54@139 My guess is u will not pull better than a 1.77 60' n not get into the throttle til after u get good an comfortable wit ur feet on the pegs n tucked in nice n neat, lol. I sure as hell wouldnt, lol. I think you will have good mph but the time will not reflect it cause of the hole shot n 330, the bike has enough horses to carry ur mph up

BTW, my leather pants will not be here in time but the track does not require them unless you are running under 10 sec. I don't like the thought of running without them but there is only two events left and I don't want to miss this one.

Don't be pissed if you can pull off better than a 1.80 in the 60'. First time I went to the track on the 14 without a strap the best I pulled was a 1.83 and that was a sloppy 1.83!! I'm also -1 on the front sprocket and I have launched a CBR1100xx about 400+ times.
Most importantly though is to try and be safe. Fun will follow.
