I ran 9.60's at swb lowered and exhaust. Don't remember 60ft's. I guess you can say that's a "realistic" time as I'm only a avg rider.

Got my first 9's last Sat!
Stock WB , launching at 4K, tough to keep the front wheel down through 1st gear!
I'm still learning, as my 60 ft. of 1.77 shows.
With that, I still went 6.42 @ 119.73 at the 1/8th and 9.73 @ 146.56.
200 lbs. in gear. Brock SMeg and PC, strapped and lowered, 16/43, air shifter.
Your 40 shot should more than make up for the weight difference.

At swb I wouldn't go anymore gear than what you got bc of wheelies. When I put the 16t front on I didn't like it. Imho I liked 17/41 better.

9.92 @ 142 stone stock with the center stand and tool kit
9.72 @152 with a 1.65 60' 185 lbs suited, stock gearing, lowered with NO strap. All motor
I agree with Eklipsed. I think that you should go back to 17/41 and raise your launch rpm a bit (4500-4800) and slip the clutch more.
Don't fret... it'll come. And when it does Whoo hooooooooo!!!!!!!
Good luck,
Tom

Hey Rich...ouch! lol. Yep, as you know I've had a lot of happenins in the last few months, but I was chomping at the bit to go last Friday. It rained cats and dogs where I was in Dripping Springs so didn't go. Now, I just had surgery that will keep me off both bikes for a month or two. Dammit Scotty! Anyway, hope to be back in the saddle soon to be comparing notes with all of you guys.

My average 60ft times before I piped my bike were 1.53-1.58, but that was only the last few times that I went to the track with that setup and I had been racing it for about 6 months at that point. (no flies, stock pipes, no PC3,16t front sprocket, lowered to the 2nd hole, and 1" in the front)
After I put the Smeg and PC3 on it with the same setup I was running 1.60-1.62 consistently with a 1.58 or 1.59 thrown in there every once in a while but I was really suffering because i only got to take it to the track twice and hadn't re-geared. I don't know how much power your yosh is making at the track, but if it is anywhere remotely close to the brocks you'll have hell getting WOT in 1st gear with a 16t sprocket without it wanting to stand straight up.
(BTW, i'm 5'9" 185-190 lbs running at a track with about a 4-5000Ft Density Altitude)

You times are respectable for sure.
The best we've seen out of my daughter's stock wheelbased 2008 ZX14 is as follows...
Best 60ft. = 1.57
Best 1/4 = 9.57
Best mph = 146.1
A few things you can do to get a little quicker are...
Swap the O-ring chain for a non-O-ring unit
Get a slightly longer chain
Remove the metal screening from the air filter or get an aftermarket unit
Lower the bike a bit more
Add HD clutch springs and spacers too
Cut your seat down just a little or purchase a lower seat.
Erica is 16 yrs. old and weighs in at a heafty 135lbs. geared-up which is the reason for the good ET's.
The bike is strapped and lowered via Brock's Links set on the lowest setting, Brock's HD Clutch Springs and a Catalyst Drag Step Seat. We have yet to replace the stock exhaust and plan to do so but we want to see how quick the bike can be in stock trim.
We feel that the bike can possibly run a 9.4XX but she still need some seat time as she's only been racing since May of this year.
Based on your description, you should be capable of running a 9.6 or so if you can get into the trottle ASAP.
