No, but I will still keep it.... The beginning of the summer was putting around on the highway around 65mph in a 55 zone. I passed a on ramp and saw a police getting on, didn't think to much about it just kept going then I hear his siren and he pulls me over. He gets out the car and says how fast were you going 100 or 120. I said I was going 65 he was like no way. So he gave me a ticket for 100 in a 55 with no radar. So I went and got a lawyer and when I met with the Ca or DA I asked him how did the cop come to see I was going that fast the DA said the cop saw all the cars you were passing and the rate you were passing them. I was like BS there were no cars at all so there was nothing to measure me by. Long story short charges was dropped but still paid $900 for a lawyer.

You prevailed ! And no harm to your record. I'd rather pay a lawyer than the court anytime.

I'd rather be treated like a law abiding citizen, until I act otherwise.... I have been in this same scenario and its bullshit.

The CHP just had a sting check point here in CA Ortega HWY they only made sport bikes pull over cars and cruisers bikes were not stopped. Any despondency with insurance registration or license they had tow trucks waiting . I am all legit but I felt like sport bike Nazis were checking to make sure because of my recreational preference .

The thing that just leaps off the page at you when reading this story is the injustice of it all. The police can be totally wrong, with no real proof of any wrongdoing and after you pay for an expensive lawyer to get you off the trumped up charge - absolutely nothing happens. The inference is of course that the policeman was lying through his teeth. You should at least be awarded costs.
