Ceramic coated stuff arrived
The ceramic coated items arrived this PM. Had them done at Finish LIne Coatings in Oregon. The 1800-2K degree black pieces are double coated, header inside and out with 2 coats/ea side, turbo intake and exhaust 2 coats - outside only, exhaust pipe inside and out - single coating.
All I need is that gasket to arrive that Compton lead me to and the things will get re-installed.

I am not expert, but the finish appears smooth, consistent, no blemishes.. well done. Their return packaging was great.

looks good. i've always been told to heat cycle a few times before any series heat like a track or dyno pull.

It all depends on what the coater has done. Many of the better shops bake the parts so they are already cured when you get them. I had some ceramic coating done one time and their oven couldn't get quite hot enough to fully cure the coating. I just had to be careful with it before I got it on the car, and then I ran the piss out of it once it was one....... that cured it all right....... haha

This coater said all the items are baked to coating design temp. Hope I got that correct.
I will heat'me up gradually as I can anyway/
Will get the pics up, likely next week... waiting on the gasket and no Murphy's Law.

Lyle, I get you.
Another small gripe on this kit. Not getting any gaskets when I got this 'kit', and asked about them... "you don't need them"is what I was told... cause the two flat surfaces will seal 'good enough".
Well, I had exhaust leaks between the header and turbo and turbo outlet to pipe. Gaskets will solve that and should have come with the kit.
The kit was fricken expensive enough to have included gold plated gaskets.
