The "no decel pop TRE" will, to my knowledge, make the bike think it is in neutral all of the time. It will lose hp. When you pull in the clutch, or are in neutral, the ecu uses a different map. Part of that map includes pulling timing, which decreases power.

The "no decel pop" TRE is a different part than the standard TRE.

My 2007 had TRE on it when I got it and it shows N all the time it also has a Muzzy 4degree advancer too. I raced my friends 14 with and with out the TRE and we had the same results.??

Roll on in 2nd gear at 60MPH and hit it and shifted a few times We are geared the same but different exhaust and I can pull him a few feet every time and I am 30 pounds heaver
than him :-( did the advancer put the timing back in? He has a Yoush he got from Ivan
and his map and a N TRE too. I am running the same map for now. Just for the test we did.

Sunday Wee is helping me install the Bazzaz I got from Lyle. Glad I got your M14 it has the O2 port for the Bazzaz sensor. What do you think??

Yes, the advancer should help put some of the power back in. That might be why you are able to pull him a little (combined with a better header). I believe that the "standard" TRE will always show 6th gear? Maybe I'm wrong on that, but that is what I thought I recalled.

I'll be interested to hear how the Bazzaz works out for you. I've thought about a PC-5 myself. Having the 02 bung already in the Muzzy is definitely a plus.

Haven't looked them up in forever but they were:

TRE 006- for flies out and locks in N
and
TRE 008- for flies in and locks in 6th gear for faster secondaries opening

Just another TRE thread...
