Gen 3 vs Smeg.... difference?

I have the streetsmart gen 3 can on the bike now. Brock says no mapping difference but I don't think it has the power that it had with the megaphone on it. It's hard to tell just riding and it is so much more quite that maybe it's just smoother sounding. I wish I had the megaphone to put back on it to have it dynoed to see. Well at least I am not burning up my right sock at the track You got to watch yourself on those shorty pipes.

Don't get me wrong it's a good pipe. You hav to just not let your leg go back in front of the exhaust. It's easy to do and you will know it quick.

I had the meg on my first 14 and now the gen 3 and really think both bikes run the same. if I had an smeg to slip on it for a weekend it would be interesting to se if there was an improvement

I sold my gen3 for a Smeg and the first 5 minutes I missed the smoothness of the bike.
I think Brock said 2-3 hp difference max. Your priorities will dictate which pipe fits you best. My comfort is worth the 2-3hp (with a perfect tune), which most of us don't have anyway.
I have another Gen3 canister but still need a gen3 midpipe .

I have a shorty gen3 and a smeg, and can't feel any difference. I just run the smeg because it sounds better and i like the looks of it.
