stevewfl or anyone that uses a blackberry

I thought someone could give me a little help with this p o s. I received a new phone from the warranty dept and my browser configuration isn't set right bc it won't let me go to anywhere but zx14.com or bikelands home page. I can't go to forums page.
Steve, Is there anyway I can get you to write down what each of your settings are (which box has a check and which one dosent) and either email it or post it here? Thanks for anyone that can help!

That's weird. I have a storm that I'm typing this response along with many others... What provider are you using and have you tried maybe consulting their technical support team?

I have atnt. My original was fine, then it started getting slow, so I got a new one (under the 1 year warranty) the plug where it charges was messed up so it would charge half the time. It worked fine. So I sent it back and got this one and I guess all the settings are off and it won't work. The only thing I knew to do was set my settings the same as someone that gets on here...

Hey eklipse I have a blackberry bold from AT&T and I can go to bikeland.org and click on the forums link to go to any of the forums.
Which blackberry do you have?
Have you done all the updates from RIM?
I remember that mine had a bunch of updates it needed when I got it about 6 months ago.
I can't say for sure that there was a browser update but you should do them all anyway.

When I click on the forum link it goes to another page and it only has a list of pics of site sponsors. I have the blackberry curve 8310. I don't understand why I worked before and not now. Even zx14.com is displayed completely different..

eklipse636,

I apologize I'm just seeing this thread. Hope you're straight. Sometimes when I get a new Blackberry I have to go into options, advanced, and "restore defaults" to get them to act right.

If yours is working now per above then great, if not I'll go through the menu options my browser is set to

I had to click on each link wheelie sent me and when the page loaded I saved it as a bookmark. Now I can visit each page that way, but its still going to my I'm page when I click on forums... I've never heard of one doing this.

You can also try Opera mini or Bolt browsers on your Berry. I have found it much better for some sights including this one.

I'm using my blackberry right now and the only problem I'm having is that it's a bit slow . Probably cause it's using the Nextel internet not the sprint speed I had before. Maybe I need to update the phone . Oh well I wasn't much help
