Redline Raceway

Just wondering if anyone was going to Redline Raceway tonight? Gonna do some Test-N-Tune runs to see how the old 14 is running! Can't seem to get get better than 6.0s here at Paris Drag Strip, and was trying to figure out if it is our slick track ,or if my new PCV is just not mapped correctly! So anybody coming out?

Dang Wheelie, I wish you had been there Sunday night! I was the only 14 running! I had trouble figuring the track out! Wheelies first ,then wheelspin later after the street cars started spreading water all down the track ! all I could muster was a 9.27@148mph? It was grudge night ,and nobody wants to grudge against a stock ,foot shifted 14 , except a couple of slick & bar bkes? What did that Magic Monster 14 pull off anyway? Redline was kinda slow , but I finally pulled off a 5.99 run! Now it's time for that air shifter so I can slap a 46 or 48 t rear on , and pull some better 60fts!
1.49 60ft 3.95 330 5.99 1/8 @119.97mph

TNT,

How did they treat you (bikes) at Redline?
How many runs did you get?
Every time I go there, I swear that I'll never go back.

Things seemed different the last few times I've been there! Yeah, much better! They kept calling for everybody to hit the staging lanes , and I kept going! I got 10 runs in ,and could have put in more ,but the hot ,damp air kept me cooling down a lot! I really enjoyed it ,but I try to go there only on TNT nights , and you get more runs in if there's not much more on the venue! Check the schedule ,and pick your nights! I think Crandall Dallas Raceway is pulling in a lot of Redlines business! Crandall is much more fun to me , but farther to drive from Paris , and you need to carry EXTRA fuel! LOL !!!!!! 1/4 mile runs on the 14 are a blast!

That's good to hear, considering that it is the only track close to me.
I was hoping that Dallas Raceway opening would give them an attitude adjustment!
Maybe, someday, I *might* give them one more chance.
Congrats on your 5.

I was perfecting videoing (is that a word?) of the first half of the track. That's why I turned the camera off. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it ............................
