Still nothing on the software package for the zx14?

I'm beginning to think they are never going to do this.

We are still doing it and are definitely getting it done this summer. We got a little distracted by the 2011 ZX-10 (We found 25+ horsepower and Ricky Gadson ran 8.88 using our flash)

This is what our flash cable looks likes.

I am still patiently waiting so I can use it on our stock ecu and fuel injection DB.

The 2011 ZX-14 ECU is different from the '08-'10 years?

Kawasaki lists the same ECU part number for 08 thru 11 but sometimes the actual software / maps inside are slightly different even with the same part numbers. We have not had a chance to get our hands on a 2011 and verify that it is in fact the same yet.

RR - Might it be possible to use the flashing software to disable the closed loop AFR area on the European ECU?? I guess you'd need to get your hands on one??

(That would be really sticking 2 fingers up at the European Union!!!!!)

The cable will be sold so that either you or your local shop can tune the ECU on the bike.

Looks like the plug ties into the fuel relay instead of the ECU ..

The plug shown is an intermediate plug. The cable will come with a bike specific adapter that connects the intermediate plug to the bike harness and allows you to flash the ECU in the bike.

With the correct adapter this one cable will be able to flash any 32bit Denso or Mitsubishi which includes, but is not limited to:

Arctic Cat Z1
Kawasaki ZX-6, ZX-10, ZX-12(b3), ZX-14, Concours
Suzuki GSXR 600/750/1000, Hayabusa, BKing, Bergman 650
Yamaha R6, R1

Depends on the model and year. The 14 and earlier 10s have a plug on the harness so its plug and play. Ones without plugs (like the 2011 zx10) usually require adding wires by inserting pins into unused positions on the ecu connector. We will supply the wires with the pins already on the end so you just insert them into the connector.

Which bike were you thinking about?

I have been lurking and looking for some time now. I have some back ground with mega and micro squirt along with the high end MOTECH etc, but this is a better route to go.
I bought a 2nd hand dynojet dyno to play with. I dont have a load brake yet... pricey, for personal use.
I will be happy to share my findings once I feel confident they are accurate and repeatable.

Feel free to PM if anyone has info to share as to not clutter the boards.

Is the reflash ever going to be released? Is it still not ready? Is there anything available for 06/07 ZX14's?
