Rear Shock question

I want to know if anyone has adjusted the rear spring to add more tension. I weigh 145lbs and even with the tiger tail my tire rubs the undertail. I know its fine rubbing a little bit but I want to know how much to crank the spring down? I can 60ft 1.40's but think with the right spring adjustment and no tire rub I will get 1.30's. The stock setup is good for my weight and I am not going to get and aftermarket setup...........Suggestions?

If you are only 145 lbs and still rubbing the tiger tail, you must have the dog bones way too low. Pick them up a notch and try that. I'm assuming you have aftermarket dog bones are your bike is stretched?

You could get a strait link. Or run the spring tension nut all the way down.

No, get a spanner wrench. When I had my stock shock, I used a piece 1/4" stainless pipe and a hammer, but I don't suggest that.....
