since i geared it up 16/45 i notice even if the bike boggs a little i still hit a 1.7 sixty foot. i know i could do better its just i dont want the bike to wheely. i notice im not smacking the trottle fast enough im launching at 4500 should i go a little higher. im at 64 and a half inches long..im lowered ,straped, full exhaust,16/45 gear, my goal for now would be 9.70 . i know i could do it its just like i said i think im not hiting the gas fast enough. as soon as i get a chance im gonna have some one video tape it. to see what im doing wrong. almost for got i only got 8 passes on my belt ! if you have any good advise i would be thankfull.

It's not impossible at all to go into the 9's at stock wheelbase, or even at stock height but I'd say that at stock height and wheelbase without a strap,,,, that's going to take one hell of a rider.
Me at 235lbs with helmet and leathers, have gone as quick as a 9.83@145.5 but that was only once. I have pulled off a bunch of 9.9 somethings but the hot and humid conditions have kept me off the track.

Step up the rpm 500 at a time, and practice. You should end up around 5500. With that much gear, get off the clutch and get the throttle pinned. The motor will do the work. Even if you bog it, let the motor pick it up. You will see an immediate improvement.
