awesome torque with the stroker motor

200 mph at 9500 rpm .... good cruising speed :-)

the fuel looked ok , and I only had to add 8% more than stock on the upper end

how much torque is it making?
I am seriously considering a big engine for a street bike
Gotta graph? I want to see the curve!

all i have is the graphs from the run ,,, You can calculate the torque from the accelleration, the Data logger was doing 100 samples / second.

At around 13:1 A/F, you could probably richen it up a little and the ram air would probably add enough to lean it back up. In other words, a few more ponies :-)

that log was taken on the bike at 200 mph ..... both graphs were from the same run , I just didnt want to have all 3 on the same chart.

Just some comparison:
Your pass:
12:00:00 PM 9465 202.821 MOTORCYCLE
My pass, faired, 20 minutes later:
12:20:00 PM 9200 209.932 MOTORCYCLE
I was out of gear and had to hold 11400 indicated on the tach. I thought for sure I was going to hit the limiter. Based on the difference in streamlining (approximately 10 mph?), I would say that you are looking at around 186-188 mph at Maxton, in good air, with your setup. Maybe a little more with some favorable conditions.
Is that in line with your estimates?

I think it may go faster ... saturdays run into a headwind and not enough gearing was 187mph . That was with C12
I am still playing with E-85 to see if that will make more power. It may be a good fit for this combo since I am turning less rpm. If the fuel system wont do it , i wil ltry some other oxygenated fuels .
The track will tell....

My pass on Saturay was 197, with a couple of rider errors. So, I imagine that right now we are seeing 8-10 mph difference between us. There is a chance that I might run mine naked at Maxton, just for fun. That would be an interesting comparison.
I take it you are running stock rods? The Muzzy 1534 kit ? Very happy to see it take that 1.5 mile pounding!

no , the stock rods are not bushed and have no oiling holes. I saw galling on the rods and pins when i took the motor out, so I bought some good rods
