Question about newer fuel pumps

Ive got my bike sitting very low with flat-link, shock etc now. Worried about the fuel pump touching now. Do the newer flat fuel pumps bolt-in/plug in, or do you have to mod? I have an 06. Wanting to install 08-newer.

Look at Shanes Build post. I think he installed a 2009 fuel pump on his 2007. Shows
pictures of install.

Edit

Shane beat me to the post :-)

No mods, just bolt it in.
