It isn't gonna hurt to run it like it is, it will be more on the soft side, so if you want to tighten the rear shock (top and bottom) all the way in and back half a turn. That's what I was told to do.
If its your first time out, don't stress about it, go have fun and get the routine down before mentally stressing ab small adjustments.

I was bottoming on the stock spring tighten all the down. Bike has 5" stretch & I'm 155.
I believe the stock spring is 9.8 kg. Race Tech advised me to a 12.5kg. Just got it. will post results. Still need more seat time though. Hope to narrow down my 60' a whole bunch with it.

When you add the heavier spring then you will find the limits of the oem valving are not up to the job. It's barely good enough for a stock arm. The spring will help but you will leave even harder with it' which in turn over taxes the hyd's, ..................Bill

Thanks Bill, That will probably be my next upgrade if I can do it my self to save money. I'd like to try the gold valve kit from Race Tech. I haven't found any how to instructions yet, just to see if I think I could do it.

I have a oem shock with a revalve Acadiana zx! It has the stock spring and the spring is the weak link but it does pretty well. If you would like to try this set up your welcome to use it, just send it back whenever your done with it. This way you can try the 12.5Kg on it before you go spending money and the head ache of trying the re valve. Its off the bike and just sits on the shelf we aren't using it. I went with a ohlins from brock so its here if you need it. I don't want to sell it but you can use it long as you want...........Bill

Thanks alot Bill, Over taxing the valving makes sense to me know. Good info. When I leave home to get back on the ship, I'll be gone to long to enjoy it. I hope to have an after market shock under the Christmas tree by that time. Very nice of you! Hope I can do something for you in the future.

As a matter fact i do! I should have a 2x5 hi comp'' motor finished this weekend. I thought it was complete but when we ran it on the motor dyno the damn thing has a valve cover leak. The motor was a core and it must be one of the early motors that had this problem. I can let you use it for long as you like for only 6500.00, LOL LOL...........Bill

I always work it out and help with shipping when its going out of usa or long distance here. Problem is with the 14's there just isn't much room to move wright now. We are hoping some of the crank work will come down as popular as they have become now but you know how that is...............Bill

I have some parts that build up along the way of experimenting with this bike and if someone can use it then fine. It puts more testing info out there then you know we could never do by ourselves . So my motives are not completely noble ! hehe! ............Bill

It would be nice if it had a 10-12" swingarm, ti winder, and pc5 with auto tune.
Thanks Bill , I won't need shipping I can pick it up when you're ready.
