WIX= Decent filtration and way overpriced.
Napa = again overpriced decent filtration.
Purolator = best filtration ratings in the industry
Fram = same filtration as Wix & Napa 1/2 the price. Shitty filter
STP = worse filtration on the market champ labs makes these
K & N = relabled Fram with a welded hex nut on it

Napa used to be known for quality parts but like EVERYONE else they now buy Chinese crap and put a NAPA logo on it.
They ate trying to hang onto the "get the good stuff" logo but they aren't fooling anybody. There parts are very expensive as well.

Damn I didn't know that about K&N! Another reason for me to not like K&N lol!

Looks like I'm gonna stick with purolator!

Hi Flow makes K&Ns oil filters..........not Fram. They ( Hi Flow ) are a huge oil filter manufacturer. I use the Purolator Pure One PL14610........it's the larger one of the two (PL14610 & PL14612) and is very well made. Also the 14610 flows 9-11 gpm.....not 7-9gpm.

Yes Don't use that Fram! Return it get your money back or exchange it! Fram is the worst filter on the market.

No way bigdtd.............don't use it. If you can't get what you usually run (OEM) try the Purolator Pure One..........PL14610 or PL14612 if you have clearence issues.

get M 1- 108, DO NOT GET 110. 110 will leak eventually. Only difference is 110 is longer and 108 is shorter. GET 108!

Why do you think it will leak? It's the only filter I run on my bike (ran the 108 once, picked up the wrong one)
But they work fine. It's the same filter but longer.

Wow, I just bought a Mobil 1 m1-108 for my Nissan Cube. Vatozone has a deal on Mobil 1, 5 quarts and a filter for $33.

I dunno man, I had a leak last night for some reason. I changed to 108 and the issue was fixed. wasnt the tightness, took me 5 minutes just to get it off. Mabe i just made my bike crap itself from riding it too much lol

I've always been nervous about not having the oil filter tight enough, so I tighten them too tight just about everytime. Always a pain to get off. But I've never had one leak, or one come off.
