So Kawa, in a nut shell. what is the end result of what you did to the ending tune on your Cycle Logic lock up?

and unless I'm missing something, sounds like you feel it works pretty good.

This thing takes a lot more static and weight

What does that mean, static and weight?

Static is your clutch spring pressure. Weight is bolts, nuts, and washers that you attach to the lockup arms.

Got some good news today from Dave at Cycle Logic. He does make an alternate arm for the lockup for high hp applications. It has a longer lever for the weight to go on. Right now they are sold out of them and are catching up with production of other parts before making another batch. He has not given me an expected date.

That is where I seem to be with the CL. Add any more weight and it bogs. Take some static away because of the added weight bog and lose short time. Take weight off and add static and it bogs 50ft or loses it numbers on the big end of the track. It is right at the balance point now.
That is the worst thing about the 14 is that the lockups will have 5 arms. You cant remove 2,3,or 4 like with a 6 arm clutch when you want to fine tune them.
hmm what lock up clutch and set up would you recommend for me i would like some 1.50s 60 foots how much would it run me do you recommend it? thanks

I wouldnt know exactly what to recommend you as I dont have enough experience with lockups to be qualified. All I do know is that a dragbike only should have a multistage and a streetbike a single stage.
