Dis-assembly of GT30 turbo
I understand the GT30 ball-bearing turbos require special tools to disassemble. Does anyone know a S.Cal shop that does dis-assembly/re-assembly?
Thanks.

Good news from Limit Eng. No need for special tools. The housing seperates off of the 'center section - without special tools. And we're just talking about ceramic coating the housing, as I get it... ?

yah, if you just want to take off the exhaust housing and compressor housing you don't need any special tools. if you want to take apart the whole turbo, then you do.
Limit Eng are smart guys over there, i'd ask them any "GT" related questions that you may have.
