suspention help please
okay i been searching the site 4 suspention adjustments but cant get it right. im at 65 and a half wheel base . the top screw which is the compression screw right should be turn all the way in and back off a 1/2 turn right? then the rebound screw which is at the bottom of the shock should be the same all in then back off 1/4 turn. at my wheel base does that sound right to you guys or im i doing something wrong. thanks guys in advance

no matter what the shock is going to be mushy - if you don't beleive me take it to your suspension pro or ship it off
aftermarket the way to go. sticks n stones bought a penski

Your headed in the right direction regardless with the stock suspension being on the soft side. The only other thing is if your a big guy you might need to tighten the spring up.

im sorry i for got the most important thing im at 195 - 210 so im on yhe right trach then it just it so soft still

tighten the spring how do i do it? what do i need ? is it easy? i go up with it or down sorry im a little lost with the suspension lol thank for the great info i wish i wouldove stiffen the bike up before i cracked my pan.

For me it was a fairly easy task. I took the spring out (2 bolts). Support the bike as if you were putting lowering links on it. ( Rear stand and a jack under the bike was the way I done it) and take the whole shock out. There's 2 nuts on the shock, tighten them with a flathead screwdriver and a hammer. (They make a tool for this but I don't have one)
