GRUDGE RACE Smokin vs. Jessejames82
ok guys here is the race.....me (stock wheelbase footshifting) Vs. smokin( streched NO Airshifter) ... i run low 6.1xs 6.0s where is smokin runs 5.6xs 5.7xs with an airshifter so he gives up the shifter...and it will be on a pro tree....maybe we will do best 3 outta 5 or something ... like ali vs. frazier .... we shall see next week

air shifter is 2-3 tenth avg. less for a good rider.

if i remember reading right smokin said he is not the best foot shifter out there, and a pro tree can throw some guys off if they dont run them often. What ever the out come i say you guys switch bikes after the race and try again

Your going to get spanked Jessie. You would be better off racing me because my foot shifting sucks and my bike is slower. At least then you would have a chance.

Sounds like a good race to me, Smokin gonna have to change his style of riding since he will be foot shifting...
It maybe an upset???

he has me covered but he said it himself he hates footshiften and i can lay down a light when it counts my plan is run a .00 light and get him all rattled..make him make the mistakes ...btw im not gonna get spanked...

Even foot shifting Lee is still going to run a high 5.80 to low 5.90.

A air shifter dosent make you faster as much as helps with consistant runs. I've never seen a air shifter help .3 that's a LOT of time. My airshifter didn't do anything to my time. Maybe .05...

So you can go .00 lights on a .400 pro tree? I can go .030 to .070s but no better unless I would get lucky on a guess.

I suck at footshifting, and I'd say it did help me in the range of .2. Plus I was missing 2-3 frequently.

Well my foot shifting only cost me a 10th in the 1/4 mile .. So 1/8 mile will be less ... I'm not the one that misses gears 5 out of 10 runs either...
Lets see, i took 3 third in points for the year in the heads up maddness races on a pro tree ...Where was Jesse ?

Smokin.....past accomplishments mean Jack when ur Grudge Racin!!!
Your still the one changing ur riding style AND you also have to worry about spinning at the launch cause your using a Stinko tire
