The power 1 is an awesome tire...It handles a 550hp ProStreetBike going 7.27 @ 200...
All the Real Street racers use them!!!

Does this Power One sort of replace the Power Race ??? I am stretched to around 63.5" & always ran the power race on the street. Just wanting a comparable tire light in weight & grip .

I got a front and a back off ebay for $150. They were race take off's but in really good shape. It's only a 180 but I haven't noticed a differance between the 180 and 190 at the track...both hook good.

If your using them for DragRacing, then you must get them from Richies Tires...
He may not sell them for the lowest price found, but tell him about the lowest price, im sure he will do something for you...By the way, what he tells you about air pressure and proper burnout technique is priceless!!!!!

I have measurements in my build thread, for the power race in 180/55 and 190/50. Basically, the 190/50 is shortest...which is why I am using it, for clearance. The 190/55 would be the tallest, and the 180 in the middle somewhere. The Shinko 190 would give you even more clearance...it is just a shorter tire, regardless of the numerical designation.
180 or 190 or is the width in mm, and 50 or 55 is the % the width that the tire is tall (theoretically).
The taller tires will be more likely to rub the undertail, which is a problem area with the 14.

Yes these are the replacements for the Power Race. The Power Race have been discontinued, but you can find awesome deals on ebay right now for brand new Power Race tires. I bought (2) 180-55 Power Race Soft Compounds for $220 to my door.
The Power Ones are working better than the Power Race, but the Power Race is still a damn good tire.
I'm currently running a 180-55 Power One RV that was a take-off scuff, and I'm up to 150 passes on it and its still hooking like glue. Got it from Richie's tires earlier this year at the AMA Atlanta race. Put it on at the track, and went on to win both Pro ET and Street ET. This tire is very consistent.
