Adams oil pan

Guys, I just finished up reading some previous threads on this and would like some
more up to date responses as far as your experiences with either the 1.5" or 2" pan.
I know Ninjayboy remarked that his bike ran hotter due to removal of the cooler.
I'm planning on getting one as my bike keeps getting lower and I don't feel like taking
any chances with breaking my stock pan. I have looked at the Clem's pan but prefer
the Adams pan. Thanks for your time.

What's wrong with the clems pan? just curious as isn't the Adams like 800.00? Clems works great on my bike and I kept the oil cooler and spent 125.00

I will be getting a sidewinder pipe as well. Right now I have an AH. As far as the Clem's
pan goes I am looking to get every last bit of lowering versus ground clearance. I have
not seen a Clem's pan in person so I don't know how much more clearance it provides.
I do know that the AH is fast becoming a factor as far as clearance goes due to the
header tube configuration. Thanks.

i have the adams 1.5 pan and have had no issues, if lower to the ground is what your wanting then go with the adams pan, i also had the clems pan and loved it but i wanted to get lower, i know those pans are expensive but they are an amazing piece of work!

No regrets with my 1.5" pan. Bike just gets up to temperature quicker. But I've hot-lapped my bike dozens of times and never ran into a temperature issue. I don't have any experience running this pan on the street, so I can't give any streetability opinions. But for the drag strip only application, if you're looking for the best way to get your bike as low as possible, this is the way to go. I have over 600+ passes with this pan and have had no oiling issues yet.

Im running the adams 2" pan. I havent had any issues with it so far. Decided to get the bigger pan for my bike to increase oil capacity. It holds almost 5 1/2 qts. If you look on my thread youll see the difference between a pan with the drain plug relocated and the adams 2" pan.
