Hit the twisties!
Kids were out of town for Fathers Day so I took the 14 up into the mountains, then did a little hiking. It was the first time I had a chance to get some curves in and wanted to see how well it would do...64" wb, lowered middle hole, and shinkos. I'm not the greatest road carver in the world, but it handled the twisties perfectly. I leaned her in pretty good and rode a smooth line. I didn't have any other bikes around to compare with, but I think the 14 would have kept pace. The longer wheelbase seems to be more noticable at slow speed turns...parking lots/gas stations, I didn't notice much of a difference in the mountains.

did you ride the crest?
are you finally getting used to it now, lets go to the track on Friday to get you some practice runs and than you will see what this bike is built for

Rode up to the Sante Fe ski area...I will probably be at the track on Friday.

we have a road around here that everyone says is way better than the dragon, i have never rode the dragon but this is just what people say next time i go up there ill take some pics for you guys

Here is my 14, turns just as quick and handles just as good, not meant to be a fulltimer track star but does the job fine. Who said big bores cant corner?? I also ride a busa in the canyons and thats also a big bike

Do you guys have trouble with cops shutting down the regular riding roads to bikers in Cali. Once in a while the cops won't allow bikes on some of the popular riding roads here in NM.

what roads are you talking about?
South 14 was closed Father's Day weekend to bikes and I heard they do the same on the Crest Rd. once in a while.
