Today at the track. could have been worse

Had a pretty good day ran 9.37 three times in a row in time shots. but In the finals I gave it too much throttle, and did some damage. It could have been alot worse I will take a bent tag and bracket over a trashed bike. Heres a couple of videos and a pic

The result from the last video...

That's what I LOVE about a stretched bike, no more wheelies!

Well, as you found out, it's not really that hard to wheelie a long bike. People sometimes act like a long bike is an instant ticket to 1.3 60 ft's, with no wheelies.

If you watch that video you can see i snap the throttle right away I dont know if thats what i did wrong or not. I only use the 2 stage to hold the rpm I dont go past the set point. And I give you guys props for 1.3s and 1.4s Its not as easy as some people think. Ive finally got to the point I can run 1.50 all day but just cant get that 1.4 yet.

Trust me it was 12:00 ... damn near 11:30 ....His feet were flat on the ground still hanging from the bars . But he don't weight 275 pounds like you ...More weigh on the bike would do more damage when it comes down .. No mirrors on the bike either

I know I need to move it but where?? I cant get anyone to inspect it if I put it anywhere else on the bike. I wanted to put it up under the tail near the shock area like most of the 1000s you see now adays. Plus i think i need to tighten that rear spring a few clicks. suspension has never been touched.

That wasn't that bad of a wheelie. Just have your tag too close to the tire.

By the time that teather kicks in it's too late. Your already over and rolling down the track. Best thing is too not let it get that far.

steddy i agree with you ..but fuck that .. if im racing somebody i can't quit especially if racer is right beside me and i'm wheeling .. but i've got my theather hook short so if i'm to far back from tuck forward it shuts engine down .. its work twice and if i didn't have it ..i done loop it cause you can't get your hand to reverse throttle when your hanging on for dear life .. its kinda like doing a pull -up on a chin-bar ..

My thumb is now trained to automatically hit the air shifter if I get to high. Many times I have to stop it from hitting the buttom too soon. lol
