Need Mesh Jacket advice for summer
What's the best mesh jacket for hot weather that still has good protection?? I can afford up to $250, will go higher if jacket is just truly super unbelievable. Looking for bad-ass looks, great finish, attention to details, enough pockets, superb ventilation, high quality materials, good back protection, and of course comfort. What you guys recommend?
My current top 3 contenders are:
Scorpion Hat Trick
Shift Air Avenger
Teknic Supervent
Thanks!!

Speed & Strength "Twist of Fate" is what I use in Arizona. Has crapload protection too.

Joe Rocket for the mesh stuff for sure. Get the latest model "Phoenix" jacket.

This one Alex.... I wear the UFO
I did get the wife to remove the flying fire Penis on the front and back tough....

She pointed at the rockets and asked... um what are those....LOL
It comes with a removable fly liner
The forearms are adjustable and all pads are also removable
The waistband also has alot of adjustability.
I find it really hard to get a jacket that fits properly, I am 5-8 200 lbs, 48 chest and 32 waist.
When I tried on the xxxl alpinestars and Icon stuff, my forearms wouldn't even get in !

Nice ha-ha - yeah those do look umm let's just say redundant.
I like the UFO, rave reviews everywhere, too, but I want red-black and I don't like it in red-black - a dilemma... Sigh, several very nice jackets - what to choose?
UFO keeps you really cool, dubious? How are the reflection strips - is it well-visible at night? DO you think protection is top-notch (for a mesh jacket anyways). Can you fit 3rd party back protector in there? Finally, is it all-around comfortable - no chafing or anything?
Thanks bunches.

Can't go wrong with Black. It matches everything.
Very cool, like wearing a t shirt almost. I haven't seen anyone else wearing one so not sure about reflective stripes. Protection is ... well its mesh... I haven't and don't intent to test it ...LOL
Depends on your size and what size you buy for 3rd party back protector.
It is very comfortable, could be worn all day long casually.... if thats your thing...
Wears like a cotton t shirt with the liner out. Wears like polyester or nylon with the nylon liner in.
Here is the only pic i have with it on...

Cool, thanks. Nice truck! I used to go full-black, too, got black Z750s with black Icon Skull jacket and helmet and a black Lexus SC 430 but now trying to get better visibility on the bike after some chick hit my car b/c she decided to change lanes during a turn from ramp onto a street while talking on the phone. Plus bike is red/black so some red will go well with it.
After more research, I am currently leaning towards this just because styling appeals to me and it seems to have same features as Joe Rocket's UFO: SS Hang 'em High Mesh
What do you think? Anyone tried it or has some feedback from friends about it or just SS mesh line-up overall (pretty much same technology/frame in all their jackets)?
