Better looking swingarm?
Anyone here tried to fit a better looking swingarm on the 14?
I mean the stock arm is functional but I really like the look of the ZX 10 or ZX 6 arm.
Not looking to make it longer, just better looking.

that's not a bad idea, but most guys go custom instead of swapping to another oem. if you find something that works, post it up. but then, you'd also be changing to different size axle, spacers, wheel and who knows what the hell else.

Clearance issues with the subframe and fuel pump area of fuel tank, when suspension compresses, are likely with one of those arms.

one i like is the ZRX 1200's for it's design in chain tightening. It has a cam excentric that tightens both sides evenly by turning the axle. The align by lines seems so outdated. I haven,t done any research to see if any or all of that fits the 14. just an idea

that sounds like it help out a lot. my bike rode a ton better after replacing the rear sprocket just because the chain needed adjusting so bad. the tight spot would get tighter and the loose spot would be within spec. i hate that!

A new EKZZZ chain is worth the extra $$. OEM 17 front and a Driven steel 43 tooth
rear (Black) works great on the street. I use WD40 and wipe off really good as I
have polished my rims and have a stock chrome plated swing arm that I need to install.

Swing arm flex on the zrx1200 and 1100 is really really bad ..So bad that a few zrx owner have swapped to a zx14 swing arm if that tells you anything..

I think you may be right Dubious. That fuel pump seems to interfere with everything.
I may play around with this over the winter if the 2010 ZX 14 looks the same as what we have now. Just looking for ways to make the bike better and a little unique.

Plus it must be the most hideous swing arm that Kaw ever produced, so no help in the "looks" department here
