Another chain thread

No drag racing, street use only. What's the smallest chain anyone has run reliably on their 14? I need to replace and may downsize if it makes sense.

No downsizing!!!

Make sure you buy only SprocketSpecialist or Vortec sprockets, they are the longest lasting for the rear sprockets!!!

Just for fun, how long would a 520 last? Non oring cheapie? How would it fail?

A chain is the very last thing I would cheap out on. I can't even imagine the horror of a chain coming apart deep into a hot corner. *shudder*

If you aren't racing why would you even consider downsizing the chain...... on the track I like the strogest non Oring available - especially for LSR whith extended high speed loads - I have had ORings crimp.....
