Timing Suggestions
Has anyone with a dynojet ignition module created there own timing curve?
What should it look like?
Where would you want the advance. (Throttle position, RPM)

On my Yamaha APEX snowmobile (R1 bike engine more the less) I have the timing module.
One of the things about it's ignition is it pulls timing from 10500+ up. Rev limiter (stock) is 11200.
Another thing to remember is, with the snowmobile, WOT takes you instantly to FULL RPM. Full rpm for me is 10700.
Whereas, on a bike, you go WOT and the motor will accelerate through the rpm range, hence creating more of an environment for detonation.
On the sled I add 5 degrees from 10500 to 11250 rpm. I have 2 to 3 degrees added throughout the rpm range.
Timing = torque. I would suspect that 4 to 6 degrees in the mid rpm range would be most noticable. Fuel will need to be added also.
