14 vs 08 busa kill from yesterday at the track

Now we are all friends but it was a good run. Yesterday in Huntsville AL. there was a bike race that we went to. they had street ET, Pro ET, 6.20 index, 5.90 index and outlaw prostreet. Anyway, My buddy has a 08 Busa with a messaged Lee's performance motor in it.Has the head and cam package, lock up clutch with a dry kit. He ran another buddy of ours who has a stock motor 14 with a drykit and a lockup clutch. Both bikes are about 64" inch wheelbase. They both left good with the busa a 1.43 60 ft. and the 14 a 1.41 60 ft. final outcome was a 5.67 at 125 mph to the busa 5.70 at 129 mph. I did not get to see the reaction times but the 14 won. this was only an 1/8th mile track. Some other highlights were the outlaw prostreet was two Turbo busa's. a 5.14 at 149 mph to a 5.16 at 145 mph. both of them were Gen 1 turbos, The winning bike was one out of Steadmans motorsports. some other interesting sights were two of the new Honda CBR1000's with slip on exhaust and 6" inch ext. swingarms, Those things were fast. I was shocked to see the running in the 6.0 to high 5.90 range in the 5.90 class. they were full streetbikes that were ridden to the track. They had some 4 wheeler drag Banshee's that were fast. and looked cool. A couple of old school GS and KZ's that ran pretty good. One guy had a nice 09 Green 14 with the works and BST wheels. He had trouble early in the race. I think he missed a gear on spray and parts and smoke came out of the sidewinder. he coasted to the end of the track and I never saw it run again. the bike show winnier was a custom ZX14 with a single sided swingarm with a 360 rear tire. It was tricked out and he drove it around the pits. It was a bit much for me but was highly customized. I got a pic of it but don't know how to post it. We had a great day at the track and you could just T&T all you wanted or grudge race. my 14 is not finished and I sold my turbo Busa 3 months ago, my 06 1000/600 project needs farings so I was on the sidelines watching. It was a nice day for racing.

congrats

Pics are easy.
Get a photobucket account, upload pics to photobucket. Your computer is too small to be a server! LOL
Then you can upload them suoer simple with the [ url ] at the beginning and [ /url ] at the end of the pic address.
NO spaces between the brackets and url or /url
