PING Dubious!

Question, on the Tracs 6” over swingarm I got from you...my chain sits right on the teflon pad, probably because of the 16/43 setup. I was wondering - should I be dumping the 16/43 and just go to a 17/44 or 45 or 46 setup instead to get the chain up off the teflon strip? I get light banging constantly that I can feel through the frame and am concerned about heat/wear on both the arm and the chain. What do you think? To date, I have about 6k miles on that setup but no issue, however I'm thinking it can't be good. Smokin, you can answer too!

Is it wearing the pad?
Check the return side too.

If it is not wearing the pad, or touching thearm anywhere I would not be concerned.

I was running 17-44 gears with the arm.
to get 16-43 ratio you would want 17-47 ,
17-47 would require longer chain, or moving the axle forward about 1-1.5 "... which I know you would like for street traction, handling and wheelies...

LMK if you need anything.
Got my number still?

Fast don't sweat it it's fine ....Mine with 16 /41 did the same thing ....It's a little noisy over bumps or on offf throttle at low speeds but it will not hurt a thing .. Even with 17/47 it's still going the hit the wear pad ( that's why it's there ) ...

Thanks to both Dubious & Smokin'. I was concerned, but hearing this from you guys gives me the warm and fuzzies now. Lyle - your cell must have changed as I called it today and some immigrant lady said I had the wrong number. I told her she wasn't allowed to take over your old cell, no matter what. I have your other two numbers, which I believe are good.
