Just give us a call. We'd like help any way that we can. 866-984-4664 or tjsynthetics@bellsouth.net. Thanks
James
James the oil seemed to work just fine , it was so hot everyone was running a 10 tenth of a second off and most were down 2 MPH ...I was the only one that didn't slow down in the heat ...As i posted in my other thread the Amsoil made my clutch grab sooner and harder than the MobilOne ..That gave me a few problems and will take me a few more test and tunes to adjust my clutch hand for the extra clutch bite ... I had the same problem when i tried Brocks 0wt oil that he sells .... I need to get some more runs and the bike and get it on the dyno , so for now the jury is still out because i really don't have hards facts to go by yet .. But if i had to guess the oil helped ... The motor was nice and quite on the Amsoil just like with the MobilOne , where as with Brocks 0wt oil the motor sound like a trash compactor ...Last outting for the zx14 with Mobil One was May 15 ( Much cooler temps, 15 to 16 Deg cooler ) it ran 5.75 @ 123 ..June 20 in 98 deg heat 5.74 @ 123 1/8 mile..
Smokin ...
Thank you Smokin. You'll get the clutch hand worked out. I can't wait to see your time's when you do.

Hi Doug, Yes. The Amsoil 10w40 MCF is what I use. I'm not aware of any dealers down under. Call my shop if you need help. 866-984-4664. Tressie is giving deals to people on this thread. She will wave the prefered customer membership for you to get the oil at wholesale pricing.

How many passes at the drag strip before you change your synthetic oil and filter? I know, a T1 certified synthetic oil dealer should know this question, but it didn't cover drag racing. Thanks

I have been running Rotella T Synthetic and Mobil 1 Synthetic. I just bought some Redline 10w40 just because I wanted to see if I could notice any difference.
What kind of price do you all pay for a quart of redline synthetic? Not the motorcycle specific stuff, just the regular syn redline 10w40. They wanted 15.50 per quart, but I got them to match the amsoil price of 11.38 per quart.

the ducati motor cycles as well as the zx 14 and many new cars such as all the new corvettes come with full syth oil.its old school to think that you need to break in your mill with standard petrolem oil.there is only one oil and all the rest follow.Mobil 1.Do the research then call mobil 1 by phone. And DO NOT use car oil.

Back in the day, car synthetics had additives that would fuck the wet clutch in a bike up. Now i don't think it's as much of a problem. I know that rotella and Mobil 1 work great in our bikes.

If you use a car oil, stay away from the energy conserving blends. The moly base doesn't work well with a wet clutch.
zx14fan- Amsoil was the very first synthetic motor oil sold in the USA since 1972 by Mr. A.J. Amatuzio. Mobil One is good oil, but the facts are Amsoil has always led the industry and set higher standards in API standards testing, and Moibil was the first to follow.
