What year and what mileage and what problems

What year bike? How long have you owned it? How many miles on the clock? What mechanical problems if any, have you had so far?

Mine: 2007 owned 19 months, 18,200 miles on it. Only one legitimate issue, warped brake rotors otherwise it's been great.

07 I bought new in 08 +21000 in 10 months,
bearing issues around 8,000 miles
loose connector from the stator to the rectifier around 13,000 miles
currently in the shop for motor issues @ 21,700 miles

I still love my bike despite the issues, maybe I'm using it too much, LOL

08 12000 miles, bought new 1 year ago. Puffs blue smoke when i rev the motor after idiling for a few min from a cold start, stops after a few twists of the throttle once warm (maybe valve seals?). Leaking cam cover at 6000 miles, motor mount bolt came loose at 11000 miles, gauge face lens melting from the sun coming through the factory wind screen. Front rotors have had to be sanded twice to remove buildup.

bought in april 06 loose tip over switch, after 8000k leaky valve cover. after 2 or 3 180+ hard brakings warped front rotors. forks soft after 5000k. after flie removal new rear tire every 2500miles no burnouts. first gear clunk. cam chain rattled like a broken rattle.

now 07, 3800miles bought with 2800. tipover switch sounds like loose change going down the road. still first gear clunk but no rattle on startup.
nothing else yet. all problems im used to now and still willing to deal with or fix.
i love this bike.
