Brocks SMEG vs. Alien Head I'm currently looking into getting a full exhaust and was wondering what the difference is in sound and hp between the two. Also any other input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for your time and input.

I heard both back to back 2 weekends ago. I have the alien head and it is louder and more raspy. The SMEG is more deep and smooth. Both make equal hp imo.

Will taking out the baffle hurt anything in the long run and how much louder would that make it pazx14?

Its alot louder logg. and No it doesnt hurt anything its just preference at the track weather you like it in or out. I run with it in sometimes and out sometimes. If you go to brocks page under questions he states theres really no perfomance difference its all what you like. Heres a video clip of my shortmeg

Here is a dyno shootout video. Can skip the rest if you want, it was our comparison of the Smeg versus ALien Head versus Muzzy M14, and in the first minute we do a sound comparison. The Alien Head is WAYY louder, and raspy. The AH and Smeg hp maps were combined and compared, but I did not get it on the camcorder (didnt press the "on" button hard enough &!*&!! The graph showed the Smeg a bit better off idle, the AH took the midrange by a few hp, then the Smeg came back at the top end by 1hp. Most likely just fueling differences between the maps.
