If you're a street rider why you need the race version? Why not just use thier street version it works great.

K&N. Cheap, easy to find at any Schucks/Kragen store and dont forget they invented the cotton gauze filter that everyone uses nowadays.

The plastic airfilter cover onthe 06/07 models warps out of shape.
For US$25 Schnitz has an alloy solution to your problem.

If its mapped for the race filter I'd go with the K&N like sticks suggested.
Easy to find the K&N wash and oil kit.
I run the stock filter with the flash screen removed and the stock cover with duct tape over it to cure the leak. I'm a cheap bastid on some things.
Next time I need to replace the filter I will go with the K&N and most likely get a new map made as I have done other stuff too.

The stock plastic cover bows out from the pressure and allows stuff around the filter (06-07 only). (08-09) use an aluminum cover you can order from stealership. I don't remember $.

I paid around $27 for the new cover last week from the dealer. Same price as Schnitz, looks the same in the pictures.
