Quick Answer Please
I'm trying to take the triple tree top off so that I can get to the stem bearing nuts. I can not get past what looks like the cover for the locking pin. It comes up to the dust shield at the stem bearing top but I can't get it past that point.
I looked in the manual and all is says is top remove the piece.

Got it. I had to lower the tubes out of the triple to get the needed play to get past the dust shield.
