Heard that it's gonna be Fish's Busa for his next BBQ ____________
FYYFF!!!
Easy on sticks, I don't know of too many busa's (or 14s) equipped with the Penski rear shock because owners care about them turning, and then posting pics of their 14 giving the 600s hell in the twisties.
and then he's interested in tackling some 'busa's in a straightline and posts invites. did anyone show up

Oh ya? Well here's another one - Ohlins front and rear here, and giving 600's hell in the street all fuckin' day long. But that being said, I'll take my Connie and eat the ZX and the 600's with an even bigger gulp. Yum yum - tasty! ____________

RIght here. Got the videos coming tonite. Wifes really pissed I'm spending "another wasted weekend not spending any quality time with the family". So here is a quick photo to wet your appetites. The full dyno breakdown runs are coming.
The dyno they used had a setup for ramair to similate the ramair effect, BUT the zx14 is too long and there tubes didnt fit in front of the bike, hence we pointed them together and direct some flow into the intake. Just using our hands to deflect a little bit of air into the intake make 2rwhp. Guy running the dyno said that he has seen 10hp from the ramair on a zx14, but they didnt have the tube adapters.
Top run was my bike DATA1 (blue), muzzy m14 with SS oval canister, base muzzy map, flies out, K&N filter with 4500 miles since last cleaning, and running Mobil 1 0W-20. Gilberjj's DATA3 (orange) run was using 5W-40 Rotella synthetic, and his DATA1 (black) run was using the same oil I did, the 0W-20. By the time we changed oil, and went out to "mix it up" with 2nd and 3rd and 6th gear pulls on the freeway, then back into line to run the temp had gone from 57deg @11am to 67deg @3pm. The temp inside the dyno room (which is located inside a huge near empty warehouse) had probably risen 5 deg. All runs were run using the supposedly appropriate correction factors. Each run they also listed "Dynojet HP" equivelants, and my 165hp run came out to a 182hp dynojet run, for what thats worth.
I'm gonna scan all 7 pages of data, but gotta run to the store right now so I can buy ink so my damned Epson will let me scan. I hate all in one printers...

For the record: Gilberjj yarded me hard on every low rpm pull we did. The 100+ pound difference between us was insurmountable with the small hp edge I had to use. Funny thing was, contrary to the dyno sheet that show a even hp gap, when the rpms hit 9000 or so I not only stopped his pulling away, I slowly started reeling him in. When we were screwing around at full rpms, he couldnt pull away. WTF? Must be the ramair causing his map to lean out a bit?? Wish I had camcordered it... didnt want the battery to die before the last run so I didnt bring it.

Oh yeah, the BBQ was great, Ducati of Seattle is an absolute top notch dealer. There customer service was almost unbelievable! There was Ducs pulling in all day long, hundreds of them over the course of the day, and each and every one was greeted by a salesman ("Customer Assistant") who knew them. If you're a Duc owner you get free dyno runs when they have open dyno days like today, free coffee and donuts if you just happen to drop in on any day, etc... No wonder Ducati never went out of business in the 90's with that kind of customer loyalty and pampering. Made jealous as hell! The Japanese bike shops could take note of how to properly treat there customers!
