PICKING UP NEW BIKE!

I thought I'd post my impulsive decisions... Headed as I type to get my new 08 silver zx14!! I'm gonna go ahead and put the pcIII on when I get home. Anyone got pics of how they mounted it up under the seat? The 06 blue zx14 is still for sale!!!

Way to go! I had hoped you'd be able to find another 14 to ride.
My PCIII is on the ram duct so I'm no help there but let the MODS begin!
Post up some pics when you get a chance!

Is stock PC map better than stock map. What are the benefits of running a PC on a stock setup?

I'm pretty sure the fuel injection is a little different on the 08's compared to the 06-07's.
That may be the reason. I know I tried installing an 06-07 map in an 08 and it wouldnt work.

Thanks! Got to put 51 miles on her today before being caught in the rain, and did 3 more heat cycles in garage. Trying to do as many as I can before the track.

Congratulations on your new bike! I'm very happy for ya. I was thinking of you just Wednesday when on the drag track. I beat a guy pretty convincingly, but I couldn't find him looking back. Made me REAL nervous. Turned out he had taken the 1st turnout. You'll love the Atomic Silver, obviously the best looking!

Eklipse636,
Congrats on your new bike! I must say though, the same as smokehouse I think you taught us all a valuble lesson about drag strip safety. I am almost paranoid about pulling of the track but I always think of your story when I do.

well 14nooby, im glad to hear that someone else has learned from this experience! i personally dont like being the one that people learn a lesson from but in this case, if it were to prevent 2 other people from having a accident, that will make me feel better about it! yea, i think first time out i will be a little nervous myself...

I don't know which one would be worse, the 14 being gone, or having your bike wrecked just sitting under your garage, with it just looking at you everytime you walk by...
