Front brake rotors
Anybody got a good source for these, they are hard to locate. Nothing blingy, just reasonably priced suitable replacements.

Did yours get damaged? And I've seen a few on ebay priced cheap, I thought mine were warped, but turns out they had buildup on them from the pads. Hit them with the sander and they work good as new.

They're evidently warped, no blueing at all from overheating so it doesn't quite make sense to me. What I have is rapid pulse thru the lever then when slowed to near stopped, I feel a repeditive but quick grab slip grab of the pads. Yesterday I pulled it down and on a couple of tips did a few things: First sanded and Brake Kleened the entire friction surfaces on each rotor. Next on a tip about frozen carriers I tapped each one to be sure they moved. Finally I inspected the pad wear indicators which were at about 40-50% worn. I reassembled everything and went for a shakedown run, Result: After several high speed panic stops, no real fade and still stops pretty well but very little improvement in the original symptoms.

Watch ebay, you will find a good deal on a like new set or takeoffs from that t-rex guy

Well with all the posts I've read about premature O.E.M. failures I don't want it happening again. I'm probably gonna go with aftermarket.

This rotor issue as you describe plagues me as well. Kawi dealer rep. commited to replacing rotors under warranty but then denied claim. This is a well documented issue but Kawi states that mine is an isolated case. I never had this issue with any other bike I owned; the manufactuer needs to be accountable for the suppliers defect in workmanship.This negative experience with customer service has moved me from this brand. This will be my first and last Kawasaki product. A company that removes customer service from their culture doesn’t keep my business.

Could they have been bent when tying the bike down? Some of the wheel chocks out there get nasty on your rotors.

Not the case with me. Never compromised rotors with straps or chocks.
