Starter relay buzzing,

My bike is starting to make a buzzing sound from under the back of the seat when I try to start the bike, it does not happen all of the time. But when it does the starter will not engage, I found that I can push the starter button a few times to got the starter to turn. Is the relay going bad? (The battery is good at 12.5 ocv)

12v key on, 14v running. The battery seems to be in good health.

The relay shouldn't be worth much, the other thing to check is for tight , clean battery connections

Yes, they are clean and tight. But I will take a closer look and sand and apply batt term gel to them now.

+1. Check the starter relay connections. The relay could be going bad.

Found it, I did not look closely enough at the negitive batt term. It has some corrision on it, more that I would have figured on a less than a year old bike. Fixing it now, thanks for the help.
