Wife wants one of her own!

Ok, it wont be a Green ZX-14 like mine, but rather a "Mini Me" version most often known as Ninja 250R.

Picking it up tonight ...

Just need a few things if any of you know some good sources ...

1. Lowering links.
2. Handlebar Risers
3. Lowered kickstand.
4. Factory rear seat cowl.
5. no Cut Frame Sliders or Crash bars.

Roaring toys has a complete set for lowering a Ninja 250, includes Dogbones, risers, stand ... for like 260.00.

The cowl is the tuff part. I'm pulling the rear pegs as this bike will never see two-up. So a factory rear seat will look stupid.

Spending money on the wife is so fun!

I have to agree. The 250 will last her maybe 1 month before she starts itching for something bigger.

Um, no ... she has a Gixxer 600 that she's been practicing (parking lots) on. After sitting on a few 250's she thought it would be better for getting out on the street and such.

I need a bigger garage though for sure.

those 250 bikes are sweet!

And so popular and so much fun on the race track WERA race league created a class for it.

Eric I used to hang out at the track with thinks he can lap one around the track faster than I can get a real 600 around it. Maybe he can, he's faster on a 600 than me...but we'll see what he can do with that 250

My ass would crush the 250 into dust and rubber but I have to admit the new 250's sure are pretty to look at.

Here it is, all ready to ride with only 98 miles on it.

2008 Ninja 250 Special Edition
Lowered 2 inches in the rear, nothing up front yet.
Rode to work today, zips along fine, like a little toy.

I'm calling it either the Mini-Monster or ZX-20 (As in 20% the size, lol)

Sorry, ZX-18, it's 18% of the CC's of a ZX-14.
