New Roland Sands wheels

Well let me start out by explaining I took the wifes 08 gixxer 1000 for a ride a month ago...dont normally ride it, so being my luck someone lost a loading ramp on the interstate in a construction area and had no where to go. I bent both wheels and turned it into insurance. Well for a few extra bucks from what the insurance co quoted the wanted new wheels. She didnt want all chrome because she thought it would be too much on the bike. Heres some pics Shes extremely happy with them, and asked me to post them for her. Heres a before pic

The dealer gave her a hell of a deal on them just so she could do some advertising for them. Their list was around 3200 he told me and she got them for 1800. The list on new 08 gixxer wheels alone was 1200. So shes happy to advertise for them!

Im sure they do. They had to fit her gixxer with a 12r sprocket for the chain alignment. you and shane would know more about that than me

I didnt get to weigh them. but the mechanic said they were deffinitely lighter than stock. So if they are lighter than gixxer wheels, thats a big plus on a 14! Because didnt you say the gixxer wheels were lighter than the 14s?

Yes,
The gixxer wheels are approx ~9 lbs lighter already!

I like the 5 spoke design
They look great up close... and different in a good way.

You can buy a set of BST for the gsxr for $ 3K though.
They are certainly lighter than forged magnesium.
