Suzuki bandit 400?
I know a guy that is offering me a 93 suzuki bandit 400, for $1200 bucks. Its got 8300 miles, yoshi pipe. He also told me it has racing carbs, and a port and polish job. This guys a pretty good friend and I take his word on it. Also had another guy tell me it was as described. Anyone have any feedback on these bikes, pros, cons,? I just lookin for something to go on longer rides on hot days if the 14 is in the trailer plus saves on u-softs also.

I bought one for my boys years ago, they are great little bikes. That's a smoking deal if it's all there.
Zack rode it from the time he was 14 until 16 when he got a GSXR750. Chad inherited the Bandit when he was 14 and rode it for over a year until he got a ZX6R.
Together they put several thousand miles on the bike.
Zero problems other than a carb cleaning.
There's not many of them out there, finding a nice used one is unusual.
Not quite as much torque as the 14..... :-) Being a small displacement 4 cylinder you gotta be prepared to keep it rev 'd up.
Post a picture if you get it.

Had one when they were new. Fun little bike. It was all about corner speed. Maybe only 400cc but it would still get you in trouble. Recently bought it's competition, the Honda CB-1. The 400's are well developed as that is a license restriction level in Japan and very popular as the 600's are here. LSL

I pretty sure im gonna get it, as long as its in decent shape. My wife gave me the go ahead so why not! I guess shes tired of buying rear tires for the 14. Ill post some pics. Im going to look at it this weekend. probably wont get it till next weekend.
Bawls I think I saw that when I was searching around but thanks!
epd345, I heard from a couple of guys that they were alot of fun, cornering, and for what they were they rip pretty good.

If your worried ab rear tires, you would be cheaper to buy another rear rim and sprocket and mount you a good road tire on there!

True but think about it rim-$300 tire-$200= $500 . And for $700 more i have a bike to just hop on and go...dont have to take the time to swap rims
