i'm not sure how much of a difference the carbon can would make over the stainless one? but the m10 was not any lighter. of course i don't have a scale that's as accurate as your's shane. mine came out of my wife's bathroom cabinet. haha

didnt you pick up like a MPH with the short meg and the wheels
I ran about 4 mph faster, on average...closer to 5 mph at the 1/8th. I didn't have lower fairings on, so that probably cost me a little on top.
Last year, under similar or better conditions I averaged 117-118 at the 1/8th. Last week 121-122..with a high of 122.96. 1/4 mile speed last year 145-146 average, last week 148-150. 149.75, first pass...and a top of speed of 150.5. Lot's of factors, but suffice it to say that I am happy with the Brock parts and the weight lost (5 lbs. on the exhaust). I was also happy with the M14 when I had it...but due to the lack of map support it isn't quite the bargain that people make it out to be.
If you do your own mapping with a logger, or pay for the custom map, I'm sure it wlll make the power.

The thing i done understand is you have spent some coin on that bike in the last year and you have not even bothered to get it mapped, it looks like your digging deep for all the weight you could be taking off the bike but what if you get it mapped and pick up say 5 HP and 3TQ that was in the bike just needing to get out

Sorry I didn't get it mapped yet, even though it only went together at 4 pm the night before I took it the track....and had not turned a wheel in 6 months. LOL
With everything new on the bike there are bigger issues to tackle than 5 hp.

Yes on the new M14 with a larger dia. M10 style meg. Muzzy use to make a M10
complete system that had a smaller Dia. M10 Meg. I was looking for a used M10 Meg
for track days and found out the old M10 Meg. will not fit the M14 head pipes. Muzzy
wants about the same price I paid you for the M14 system you had for a new M10 Meg. for the M14 head pipes..
