help stop this DAMN drain plug from leaking
can't figure out how to stop my drain plug from leaking. it's a klems cut down pan, but it has the original plug and washer. i've tried
pipe tape- didn't work
rtv- didn't work
going to the part store to see what I can find, any suggestions?

If the surfaces are clean, the bolt undamaged and the washer new...it definitely shouldn't leak!

my clems pan has a pipe coupling with a allen head type of set screw, no head on bolt. Haven't had any leaks. Do you have a crush washer behind it.

the washer isn't new. hopefully they'll have on in stock at the dealer. thanks

this is one of their older pans before they started putting the allen head bolt in. does anyone know where I can find a bolt like that?

It still has a clean, flat surface for the gasket to mate to...right?
I haven't seen the setup on the clem's, but you need that flat surface to run an oem style plug/washer.

Should replace the OEM washer after every oil change.
