15000 miles on the street and over 200 passes at the track on 87 octane, and never a problem. btw, i've had the bike for a year now lol

Ive been running 87 on the street now for 2 years no problems. changed the plugs this summer all looked good.

Just going by what I was told, that running 87 at low RPM's was not good to do because of the possibility of detonation. Since at the drag strip you are at WOT, it was ok and it makes more power than 93.

Just going by what was said by a reliable source.
