Rear Luggage Advise

I need something that works well on the back of our bikes, no saddle bags just a good tail bag, with enough room for a weeks worth of touring. I'm having no luck in reseaching on the web, most bags are not big enough, mainly made for smaller sport bikes with there smaller tail sections. It would be OK if the bag hung over the sides a little for that extra room.

TIA

Is that a Corbin back rest, and does the bag connect to it or just the bike rack?
Who makes the setup you have, and where did you get it at?

Corbin seat and backrest, the rack attaches to the rear foot rests and two bolts underneath just inside the rear turnsignal, the way it goes on there is no chance of anything rubbing or coming off, it's called the Ventura bike pack, made in Australia I believe.....

Niner9,

How easy is the system to remove when not touring? it looks exactly like what I need but I'd prefer not to have those rails always on my bike as we only tour a couple times a year.

My friend, the perfect setup is already for sale at a steal of a price in the classifieds section. I have virtually the same stup and it works terrific.

Hey Niner9 does the rack come with the bag on the two up picture?
Also do you think there is enough room between the bag and seat to keep the turtle shell on the stock seat?
It looks like a nice setup!

I'm not sure about the rear cowel fitting when rack reversed, there are a number of sized bags to pick from and I bought two racks, one for the big back and one for the smaller bag, the reason I ended up with this set up is because my givi bags wouldn't fit with the akro slip on's. but would have no problem recommending it, no diss to you makenna.

No wonder they look familiar to me, they're mine that I'm selling.
These DO NOT fit the ZX14, but the maker does offer a wide version of the same set as I have here for sale.

Thanks anyway.

Fritz, 5'11" and 165lbs, no risers, I have thought about them but the set up as is doesn't bother me too much on long rides...

Thanks Niner -

I'm close at 5'9" (grins). It'll probably be risers for me.

Hey Niner,What kind of mount do you have for your Gps?And where does it mount to? Or better yet do you have a close up picture of your handlebar area?
