zx-14 lsr question

Hey guys I am asking a question which has prob been asked before but I dont have an answer. I was wondering what mod or mods the zx-14 guys are using to derestrict the zx-14 187mph restriction? I have an 2005 zx-12 and it has a ecu more like an early 14. Just looking for some ideas as this issue hasnt been answered on the late model 12's. Thanks.

Get yourself a speedo healer and set it so that it reads low. By tricking your bike into thinking that you're not running as fast it won't shut off. That's what we do.

Speedo healer works - and also if you gear it taller you can exceed the limit by the ratio increase of the gearing change - speed limit is based upon RPM in 6th gear.

Simple way to do it is to find the speedo healer ratio that lets you use the KPH as your MPH, hence 125KPH (70mph) will actually be 125mph.

speedohealer... or grind 1 flat off the sproket nut pickup.... speedometer will be totally innacurrate, but for LSR all that matters is the slip....
