Yes forks slid up 3/4 inch, did not put a mark on the exhaust.

The reason I ask is that as best as I can tell, once the guard is gone, the brock header is lower than the pan. Maybe it will still hit first, but the pipe would be right behind it, I imagine.

Once you slide the forks up, obviously a much greater chance of bottoming it out, right? I'm avoiding sliding them up, for that reason. I guess I give up a little ET, though.

The stock plug is about 3/8"+ taller than the DIN 908. Were you running a low profile plug with the stock guard?

I'm only asking details to get an idea of the common denominator with the broken pans. I think the stock guard and forks up in the triples seem to be a common theme.

In my case, my forks are lowered 1.5" internally...and I pulled the strap all the way down. I increased preload so that if it does land a wheelie, hopefully it won't compress much more. My ground clearance at the pipe is about 2.5", when strapped.

I landed a few small wheelies on Friday, but nothing big. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it.

Apparently my bolt is a little lower profile. It uses the oem crush washer.
