Upgraiding street turbo 5# boost
Just bought a 2-8" swing arm extension kit from Roaring Toyz, also a 16 front sprocket to prevent bogging off the line. A new chrome double link chain was ordered. 27K on motor untouched, cam chain rattles on start up and have to restart after warm up to reset. Advise required. Learn from others mistakes.

With all that power, I'd go to an 18 tooth front sprocket and up 5-6 teeth in the rear. It will be alot easier on your output shaft and chain. It will also be apx the same gearing.

Too much fulcrum on front, or chain stress? See your point, thanks.

I returned to OEM sprockets from 17/45 then 17/43. I have an about 6" extension. All seems to work fine. 17's ran outta gear too quick.

Running 4300 ft alt, norm temp was 90 F, NHRA no longer is at RMR, drag season is next week not June. Are you running a turbo also? Also has anyone this many miles on a turbo? 27K worries me, how much can a ZX-14 take? Oil results come back clean, no babbet or chrome.
